Services
HRA provides state-of-the-art billing, collection and reporting services
with performance expectations. Billing shall occur within three (3) days of
receipt of a completed demographics face sheet, copy of insurance card (if
available) and the dictation. The chart will be coded with the proper ICD/CPT
codes in accordance with the services rendered to the patient, as presented
in the dictated notes of the medical record.
Monthly reporting is an integral part of our services. We are committed to
timely and accurate reports that will enhance
the collection results. These reports, such as the E&M bell curve graph, can
be critical in identifying potential problem trends such as incorrect coding
or down-coding, carrier nonpayment trends, physician coding inconsistencies,
and can help benchmark performance to national averages by specialty and region.
The key to HRA's superior service is our state-of-the-art technology. HRA
uses the highly sophisticated MED/FM Financial Management System, developed
locally by CPU Medical Management (CPU). MED/FM operates on an IBM AS/400
